How you can help

1. Donate through the Dream Fund

2. Other donations

Some of you have already made financial contributions to help the Jerde family. Thank you so much again! Holly Mason has set up an account to handle this. If you are wanting to contribute you can make out checks to:
Paul Jerde c/o MasonBaronet

They can be mailed to:
MasonBaronet
1801 N. Lamar, Ste. 250
Dallas, Texas 75202

We can also accept credit/debit cards. You can email the credit card info to: gaby@masonbaronet.com or call 214.954.0316 (extension 225) with the information. Records will be kept of all donations and given to the family. And Patty will have full access to this account.

3. Comments and photos

Please continue to leave comments for Paul on this blog, as we periodically read them to him. :-)

If you have a photo of Paul you'd like to share, please email it to willie@williebaronet.com

Again, thank you all so much for all you do. The main thing is that you love Paul and are keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.

To The Jerde family: I had the opportunity to be in Paul's portfolio last spring and work under him at Mason Baronet as an intern. This is devastating news for me and i can't even imagine what you are going through. Paul will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers during recovery!

I came via Willie and wanted to send my good thoughts towards Paul! Best of luck - the world needs as many wonderfully happy people as it can get; Paul's photos are inspiring.

Paul,

Wake up brother!

It's been 26 years since I last saw you and Ray.

I had no idea that you and yours were living in Dallas. I left there just a couple of years ago. I'm in NC now.

Were you wearing a helmet? If not, you're still the same audacious jackass that I knew in high school.

And speaking of which, do your coworkers know that you were the first male cheerleader in the state of Iowa. Yes my friend, you did wear the outfit. That was so awesome!

Go, fight, win! And we did!

To Paul's family:
I apologize if my words seem rude and inappropriate, but the Paul Jerde I know would respond in kind. I am asking everybody I know to keep him in their thoughts and prayers, and I am telling everybody about this amazing kid that I went to high school with.
My very best to all of you.

Peace and Love,
Mike Schmitt

Hey Paul,

OK, so you have been so dynamic and active the last umpteen years that you deserved a little time off, but now your family and friends need you to step up an snap out of it brother. We all need your hyper-intensity and crazy inspiration in our lives. I'm looking very forward to hearing the next installment of "Paul and Buzz hit the town". There is so much going on out here and I need to discuss some ideas with you. Let's chat soon.

All my best wishes and prayers for you, Patty, and Buzz. Get well soon!!

Mark

Came here via Willie's blog, and I'm so sorry to hear what happened.

Paul, it's time to wake up. Your family and your friends love you, miss you and need you.

And you need to kick the ass of that idiot in the truck who hit you.

If you wake up, I'm sure some of your friends will help.

Get well soon, Paul!
