Prayer for Paul - Thursday, June 19, at noon

Tomorrow (June 19) at NOON (Central Standard Time), we are asking everyone to please say a prayer for Paul, specifically for healing the trauma to his brain and for him to wake up. We are hoping for power in numbers, so please send this message to anyone who knows Paul or his family or who might like to help. We feel strongly that your prayers are helping and we appreciate all of your support and help.

Thank you,
The Jerde and Hatfield families

I'm not knocking the power of prayer, by any means, but I also think it is important to VISUALIZE Paul awake, healthy and happy. I can't get this specific image out of my head - It is Paul horsing around with Buzz in a big green area - like a park or a yard. Anyhow, that is the image I'll have in my head at 11 am (mountain time - to match up with you guys). I'd like to propose that we all picture Paul and Buzz together like that after we say our prayers. If we are all doing that at the same time - oosh, that is going to be some powerful stuff.

To Paul and his family,
Please know that Paul's recovery will be in our thoughts not just at noon today, but at all times. I'm a freelance writer who worked with Paul in the past. My husband, Mark, also used to work with him, and we both wholeheartedly agree that Paul is a great guy. This is a tragedy. We ride bikes in our supposedly bike-friendly neighborhood in Las Vegas frequently -- with our young children in the bike trailer behind. Needless to say, news of Paul's accident is sickening. Lots of people are rooting for him -- we received the news from a friend in the Dallas "creative network". We'll be checking in on his progress!

Thank you for including me...in this group agreement of Prayer~
I will most certainly be praying at 12:00noon today.
I was encouraged by the scripture below, while thinking about Paul.
God is a God of POWER and MIGHT.....
No task is too great for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Just as Zechariah was wakened by the angel~ I believe that God will awaken Paul. During this time...may Paul gain Godly strength and wisdom for the next season of his life. May this rest be a time of impartation of vision and Godly power!

Father- we do stand on your word. Where two or more are gathered You are in the midst of the conversation. Lord dispatch your angels and your anointing to awaken Paul, this day, today ~ June 19th at 12:00 noon. Let Your Power and Your Might come forth, in a healing testimony of Faith for Paul~ Your son!!!!!
In Jesus name we agree and pray. Amen!

Zechariah 4:1-3 (New King James Version)~Vision of the Lampstand and Olive Trees

1 Now the angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep. 2 And he said to me, “What do you see?”

O God, our refuge and strength,
comfort of all who suffer,
help Paul with your power
and make him well again.
You promised that you would
"turn our mourning into dancing."
Turn Paul's sorrow into joy,
and his weakness into strength,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Praying now and often, for God's will....and enough understanding to help us all deal with this challenge for Paul, his family and his large community of friends. You are loved...

At exactly 10 am West Coast time (I now live in Los Angeles), I visualized Paul, Patty and Buzz flying a kite, in a big open field, having a picnic and enjoying a warm summer day. The power of positive thinking is strong medicine.

Much love,

Im keeping the Jerde family in my prayers. I had the great opportunity of playing in the D.C Stipp tournament infront of Willie and Paul. I heard enough one-liners about my poor golf game to last a lifetime.

Get well Soon from the Great Northwest.
